Bethany Lutheran Church  of Northport

We welcome you to our community of believers - committed to Christ and his ways in the world and to our community.

We gather for worship every Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.  We sing, pray, listen to scripture and a message exploring its meaning and application to our lives.  We share in Holy Communion twice a month, a simple meal that conveys God's love.

Worship Where You Are Loved!

Sunday School for Children

We warmly welcome children to all of our services and offer Sunday School once a month, at least. Children and their parents, if they desire, are invited to Sunday School after Pastor Chrysanne has a children's sermon with them

Our upcoming Sunday School gatherings will be April 14th, May 12th and June 9th.

Weekly Bible Study - Tuesdays at 2 pm

Beginning May 14th Pastor Chrysanne will host a weekly Bible Study on Tuesdays at 2 pm at Bethany, and online. (Call the Church office at 231/386-5037 for a link. All are welcome. We will explore the weekly psalm and Gospel reading for the following Sunday. Bring your bible or use on one of ours.

Nurturing Through Knitting and Crochet

On the second and fourth Wednesdays from 5 - 6:15 pm, a group of Northport friends gather at Bethany to talk, to knit or crochet, and to create things that will nurture others. During the Fall and early Winter, we created hats and mittens for children at Northport Public School who need them.

Now we are working on prayer shawls that can be given to anyone who needs to know that they are loved and being prayed for.

For more information, check with Sally Coohon at Dolls and More, across from Tom's on Naganoba St.

All are welcome!
